Attridge Hattrick Hero

The threat of failure loomed large for Woodford Green, who conceded after just 7 minutes at the St Aubyns stadium, a fixture that had seen many great battles in the past – with this encounter being no different.   The free flowing play and pace caused Woodford issues for most of the first half, conceding 4 goals to no reply this looked like a day to forget for the boys in red. Down but not out Rather than accept defeat Woodford dug deep, being rewarded with some great build up and assist from Abdullah into Attridge, whose first time shot on goal rattled the top corner and in.   Continued pressure and effort played dividends, with another smart link up play between the two attacking mid fielders leaving the Aubyns keeper bending down again to fetch the ball out of the back of the net, was this the start of a come back? Eggcellent Easter

Benjamin and Alexander - we loved the Easter cards you both made for us.  The little springy animals inside, a master of engineering and ingenuity.  You were so excited at having Easter eggs for breakfast, to only find out that chocolate first thing in the morning, might not be such a great idea at it seems.  You both did a pretty good job though of polishing off your eggs before lunch time.....  Mum & Dad. Little treats

Daniel Micheal Attridge, we love the little treats you give us now and again.  Today, your little note was lovely.  It's a joy to see and your brothers happy in what you are doing (today drawing ((you and Alex)) and playing minecraft ((Ben, of course!!)) it can only bring a smile to our faces.   The fact today the sun was shining, doors open and the dog wandering around you could say it made for a perfect Sunday morning.
